Elite for Kids
The children’s program at Elite Combat Systems is one of the most effective
and well-rounded curriculums in the nation. We believe that training your
child in the martial arts will improve their self-confidence, the respect
they show you and others, vital life skills, and discipline.
The goal of our professional instructors is to unlock the greatness inside
every one of our junior students. Along with these dedicated instructors, a
blend of the three systems listed below helps us achieve that goal.
· Japanese Karate – teaches the importance of traditions and respect for
the origins of martial arts
·
Muay Thai kickboxing – overall conditioning and self defense
·
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu - ground defense, strategy and discipline.
Have questions? Not sure if we’re a good fit for your family? Give us

Afternoon Classes
(see class schedule for days and times)
-
Kali (also known as Kali-Eskrima)
-
is an ancient system of war and combat from the Philippines.
This system includes empty hand
fighting, boxing, grappling and kicking.
The weapons and knife defenses taught in Kali-Eskrima are the best in
the world for civilian, law enforcement and military training.
-
Jeet Kune Do (JKD)
- developed in the 1960’s by legendary martial artist
Bruce Lee. The concepts used in JKD training methods and fighting strategies
are unsurpassed. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most misunderstood
expressions of martial arts. By understanding and utilizing the concepts in
JKD, we set ourselves apart from other mixed martial artists. Elite Combat
Systems embraces the JKD methods and consider it to be the core of our
curriculum.
-
Brazilian Jiu Jitsu
-developed by the Gracie family in Brazil, this style
of martial arts is widely popular today in both the UFC (United Fighting
Championship) and MMA (Mixed Martial Arts) arenas. This martial art focuses
on grappling, take downs and submissions.
-
(Muay) Thai Boxing
- known as the art of eight limbs, Muay Thai is famous
for their destructive kicks, knees and elbows. These tenacious fighters are
also fearsome trainers dedicated to the perfection of their brutal and
effective combat method.
-
Boxing – covers the traditional foot and hand work of American Boxing.
-
American Kickboxing
– a unique blend of Boxing, Karate and Savate.
-
Mixed Martial Arts – a full contact “combat sport” that allows a wide
variety of fighting techniques, from a mixture of martial arts traditions
and non-traditions, to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of
striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground.
Such competitions allow martial artists of different backgrounds to compete.

Saturday or Sunday afternoons, these two to four hour classes allow for an
in depth exploration of a particular discipline.
These classes are often taught by instructors from outside of the
academy, so there is usually a nominal fee to help cover their class fees
and travel costs.
